Honda Passport Review
In 1995, the Honda Passport comes with the three models; the Passport LX, EX,
and the basic DX models. The Passport LX and EX models is a much better choice
than to the DX models, it has a powerful engine of 175 horsepower V6 engine, generally
this two models performed well in all-around use especially in the town the LX
and EX models are smooth and quiet. The DX model has a power of 175 horsepower,
5-speed manual transmission but has only a 4-cylinder engine and is only available
in 2-wheel drive form. The 4-cylinder's limited power makes acceleration a pretty
leisurely business.
The new and enhance model of Honda Passport is powered by 3.2-liter, 24-valve,
DOHC aluminum-alloy, five-speed manual transmission, or four-speed automatic transmission,
V6 engine that delivers the 205 horsepower at 5400 rpm and 214 pound feet of torque
at 3000 rpm to accelerate quickly and help tackle uphill.
All the passport models were constructed using a body-on-frame method, which
is commonly done for trucks and sport utility vehicles. With a front and rear
crush zones that dissipate crash energy away from the passenger area, impact absorbing
rear bumpers were enhance and a triple-sealed doors with integrated steel beams
that resist intrusion during side impacts.
